Parents are an integral part of a child's education, they must instill in their children the significant importance of a good education. children need direction, motivation, encouragement, and support from their parents. When our children were in school K-12 we knew their teachers. We knew them by volunteering, attending parent-teacher conferences and/or one of the kid's older sibling had already had that teacher. Our children always knew that we respected their teachers and that we would not tolerate anything less from them. Children know when parents trust and communicate with their teacher's Children

It is important for teachers to engage students, teach concepts, and to excite students about learning and that is just the basics. Teachers also develop lesson plans that build on student's abilities, must keep up with grading, and record keeping, manage students conduct, and discipline. And this does not even touch on multiple levels of communication, reporting to their superiors, working with children with disadvantages, and so many other aspects of their job. If you consider 1 teacher has 25-30 students in each classroom and they have 4-6 classes a day they could have up to 180 students per semester and upwards of 300 parents to communicate with. Now take those 4-6 and think about how many lesson plans they must prepare for. "Teachers do these things to receive low compensation in salaries compared to their peers with similar degrees." (Brookings) It is important that school districts support their teachers in every
