In the situation Betsy should not divulge Crago plans to bid on the Farley contract because it would be going against another customers trust. If Betsy were to make this unethical decision she would gain a reputation as an untrustworthy saleswomen, thus hurting herself, her company, and any customers to whom she violated trust. Although, it could mean more business as well as more money, it is not worth the high stakes as well as becoming a dishonest person, due to the want for more money. Another way to which Betsy should consider the situation is that Mitch may be testing her trust by asking her to disclose information about another client and if she fails the test then she could potentially lose two big accounts. Betsy should consider asking her company if they are able to give out samples, in order to lower prices, as well as keep business steady. If the answer is negative and the company does not allow samples, then she should still ask her company if they would be willing to give Mitch a price cut.
