If one year had to be shown to represent the 1900’s then it would 1962. During 1962 a lot had changed from the old coming in with the new with technology and their fashion. Not only did the most loved singer, model and actress of that time die, but it was when world changing decisions were made. This is why everyone should know about this year. Starting in 1961, John F. Kennedy was president of the time, the youngest man to be elected as president as well. He made sure that there was peace throughout the country and that the ties between countries were strong and peaceful. With the launch of Telstar, ”the first communications satellite that could both send and receive signals' ' (Staff), it made it so America could get scenes from Europe and the other way around. These technological advances would change the daily lives of the future generations. This made it easier for all sorts of introductions of all sorts of categories of things like fashion, entertainment, etc. Including the World Fair, where inventions and new technology, including the cordless phone.
