For almost two decades in the United States, food has impacted the way both children and adults live in society. It has come to the point where people have gone as far as to change the type of foods they buy, and what foods their family eats. Both adults and kids are affected differently by the way they consume company products. Adults affected by the foods of society don’t quite know that they're consuming junk food. They just buy what they can afford, and whatever will hold their hunger down. When it comes to the kids, most of them feel pressured by society because obesity is deemed unattractive and they don't want to reach it. Not only that, but it’s difficult to switch from junk food to healthy food. Individuals affected by this place the blame on the companies for providing the food, but the companies blame the individuals for buying the products. According to Source C, the animals on their farms are abused. In addition, the meat purchased from supermarkets, and the meat in fast food restaurant are all processed the same way. This means that no matter what, whether the meat is cooked a healthier way or bought from a healthier market, you’re still eating the same meat from fast food franchises.
