Scott and Laci Peterson Case In this case it deals with the death of Laci Peterson which was caused by her husband Scott Peterson. Before her death Scott was cheating on Laci with another women and her name was Amber Frey. she claimed at the time that Scott told her that he was not married and was single. Just one day before Christmas Scott reported her missing from the home in California, where they live while her due date for their child was slowly coming up on February 10, 2003 their unborn sons name was going to be Conner but the cause of death for both Laci and Conner was both undetermined. Scott was sentenced to death by lethal injection. There can be many motives why Scott killed Laci but there were three main things why. The first reason was the dread of fatherhood, not having father in your life can be pretty hard. Not having fathers in your life that can help you to become a man can be really hard and at the same time maybe Scott wasn’t ready to be a father because of that situation in the past which can cause people to go crazy just because their father wasn’t in their life. …show more content…

In 2002 Scott was paying 70 percent of his bills plus the things for the house and maybe even things for the baby. For Scott he was getting a higher income than most people in the United States at almost 4,500 a month. Even though he was making money 51.7 percent of that was going to debt payments. Scott knew he was going broke and he thought that if he got 250,000 dollars of life insurance for Laci it would change but he was
