Scott and Laci Peterson Case In this case it deals with the death of Laci Peterson which was caused by her husband Scott Peterson. Before her death Scott was cheating on Laci with another women and her name was Amber Frey. she claimed at the time that Scott told her that he was not married and was single. Just one day before Christmas Scott reported her missing from the home in California, where they live while her due date for their child was slowly coming up on February 10, 2003 their unborn sons name was going to be Conner but the cause of death for both Laci and Conner was both undetermined. Scott was sentenced to death by lethal injection. There can be many motives why Scott killed Laci but there were three main things why.
