Fear
Within every human being contains something that's shapeless and dark. It is self-imposed, it is an intangible, and it only lives in your head. This is fear. Fear can be said to be a parasite feeding off the host, the host is you. The more your fear is dwelled on and paid attention to, the bigger and paralyzing it becomes. It is what slowly eats us all every minute and you face another day of dread, replacing hope with fear instead. We feed our fears by giving in to them, and doing things, or not doing things. Fear chains us from our full potential, filling us with the possibilities of failure in the minds.
Fear is also the shadow that covers one’s warm and gentle heart. It is the dark cloud hovering over us overlapping the shining sun.
