Yes, feminism and the women 's suffrage movements can be considered offspring of the Atlantic Revolutions. The feminism movement was a result of the Atlantic Revolutions because the ideas of liberty and equality had women thinking that they deserved rights equal to those of men. As a result the middle class grew by way of women finding more opportunities for education so did the feminist movement. The women 's suffrage movements became a mass movement in the United States and Western Europe by the end of the nineteenth century. Women in Europe were the first to have suffrage which was later followed by some other countries around the world.
