The Feminist movement helped women gain a lot more privileges and opportunities that would improve their lives and help them achieve independence. Before the Feminist movement took place, women were oppressed and didn’t have many rights or room for advancement in their respective fields. Instead, they were expected to do everything their husbands told them to do and they weren’t allowed to do much for themselves besides taking care of domestic duties around the house as well as their families.
