My poster is about a well-rounded analysis of a notorious news reporter and journalist named Jorge Ramos and the actions that he takes and why he is the person he is and why he wants to help the progression of the Latino Community. He definitely inspires me a lot because he constantly finds solutions towards the Latino community crisis. In my honors leaderships, we discussed about the different type of theories in regards to a person’s behavior. The servant leadership that Jorge Ramos displays is an excellent example of the leadership qualities a person should have and the service that Ramos does is known throughout the Latino Communities. I also mentioned the ethnical and unethical portion of it and how it connects to the leadership that
Written Task 2 In today’s society we see all types of different propaganda to sway our opinions one way or the other. We have television, magazines, radios, billboards, and so much more that can be used as propaganda. Propaganda today on the internet can be derogatory while back in 1984 they didn’t use curse words, but instead they tried to make their leader seem as though they were this great person even if they were not.
Jose Maria Morelos, revolutionary or non-revolutionary is the question. Revolutionary is a person, event, or ideal that impacts the future in a positive way and doesn’t necessarily leave a negative impact. Some examples of revolutions that were truly revolutionary are the Haitian Revolution and the Glorious Revolution. Both of these revolutions are considered revolutionary because they changed ideals and left impacts on present time and the future.
A man of the people for the people. Cesar is a hero to many because he was a great leader, many even compared him to MLK. he knew what had to be done and exactly how to achieve the goal of getting it done. 1. In 1930s Havana, three Cubans approach Harry Morgan and Eddy with the proposition of smuggling some revolutionaries into the United States. Morgan refuses, stating that he will not smuggle anything than can talk. The Cubans, particularly one named Pancho, take offense because they think he believes they will talk.
An example would be “Be Sure You Have Correct Time.” This poster, aimed to persuade the minds of many Americans to adopt anti-foreign policies on many countries who were going to war with us at the same time. Therefore, the propaganda was trying to exploit the foreign countries’ citizens who we were at war with. A second example would be the poster titled, “This is the Enemy.”
Our world happens to be ruled by different types of dictators in the past. Three dictators that have impacted our world were Benito Mussolini, Joseph Stalin, and last Adolf Hitler. The dictators impacted our history but not for the better, they used tottariamism to use a method to lead and we have to make sure we will not make the same mistake in repeating this tragic history. Each totalist ruler ended up making the world a harder place for us and at the end they ended up losing. Benito Mussolini used fascism to rule, Joseph Stalin use communism, and Adolf Hitler used Nazi ideology after World War I to gain control.
Would you believe me if I said propaganda posters could change the course of history? They changed the course of history by shaping the outcome of the war. Moreover, propaganda posters during WWII were a way to shape public opinion through various techniques. After studying these WWII propaganda posters, I noticed the most used techniques are imagery, diction, and persuasive appeal. Again, propaganda posters changed the outcome of WWII by using different techniques to appeal to the public while also shaping their opinion.
The propaganda posters used in USSR contained numerous propaganda techniques to motivate the russian society to support the communist principles. One of the posters used in the Russian Revolution depicts Vladimir Lenin guiding the way for the working class through communism. The poster itself is dominantly red-colored to ensue patriotism towards communism, since the communist flag is also red. The poster also contains an outline of Russia in the background. The background of the poster combined with Lenin pointing to the west suggests the industrialization of
Joseph Stalin was the Communist, totalitarian leader of the Soviet Union (now called Russia) from 1927 to 1953. As the creator of one of the most brutal reigns in history, Stalin was responsible for the deaths of an estimated 20 to 60 million of his own people, mostly from widespread famines and massive political purges. During World War II, Stalin maintained an uneasy alliance with the United States and Great Britain to fight Nazi Germany, but dropped any illusions of friendship after the
The “World Solidarity with the Cuban Revolution” is much calmer with respects to the color and layout of the poster. The background is white and, though the words are in red, they are much smaller and less harsh. Everything seems more balanced and diplomatic compared to the harshness of the “Destroy Imperialism” poster. The second poster is much heavier on the words, meaning that they are bigger, harsher, and the prime focus. The word “destroy” and the picture of the gun, especially, immediately draws the attention of viewers and gives off the impression of anger and hatred, more than the previous poster.
This helps the grey and white stand out. The picture which is also in black and white matches the theme. The picture in the propaganda poster shows brave world war one soldiers fighting for their country. At
The Cuban Revolution was successful in toppling the corrupt Batista dictatorship and getting the Cosa Nostra (a major crime syndicate in Sicily) out of Cuba. The Cuban Revolution was and is not successful however, in making Cuba a free land and a good place to live for everyone. It benefited just the communist party leaders. At first the Cuban people thought they were fighting from freedom, and that they were trying to free themselves from Batista and the United States. However, what most of the cuban people didn 't know it was that it was all a lie.
