Firstly the color in L.Frank Baum “The Wonderful Wizard Of Oz” I feel impacts the novel in a big way although I have never seen the movie the novel was enough for me I can't picture every conversation and journey the characters are going through in my head everything from Dorothy getting caught up in the cyclone to the good witch of the south Glinda being killed everything in the novel I could see in vivid colors although I haven't seen the movie the novel seem to have more better impact to me when it comes to color especially for me because I have never read this novel until now in my program of Educere with these colors in the novel it helped me know how the characters looked like for example Dorothy who is the main character in the novel it states that“ Dorothy had only one other dress, but that happened to be clean and was hanging on a peg beside her bed. It was gingham, with checks of white and blue; and although the blue was somewhat faded with many items of washing, it was still a pretty frock. The girl washed carefully, dressed herself in the clean gingham, and tied her pink sunbonnet on her head. ”(Baum Chapter 3) with these few lines I can already picture how dirty Dorothy must have been
In 2015, HBO aired a six-part, true crime documentary series titled, The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst. Writer and director, Andrew Jarecki, examined the details of three crimes associated with Durst, including the disappearance of Durst’s first wife Kathy, the murder of his dear friend, Susan, and the murder and dismemberment of his neighbor, Morris Black. While the mini-series was met with acclaim, many – including myself – criticize The Jinx for its storytelling approach. The series seemingly blurs the lines of storytelling – for entertainment purposes – and journalism; raising many questions regarding ethics. Initially, Durst approached Jarecki regarding an interview after he saw All Good Things, a film Jarecki had released

Since society is a world of community where people creates atmospheres and interact with one another, through films we can look into the mirror of the society at that time. The French society from the mid 1950s to the mid 1960s was the time when the postwar modernization for France had begun. During this time period there were many values that the society reflected and various cultures that were embedded into the people’s lives.

Gogol has been following the “American” ways with Maxine’s family and he has become aware of the disconnection between him and his culture. It seems as if he is starting to feel quite guilty because of this and he feels as if he is being
