The Oscar award winning film, The Blind Side, directed by John Lee Hancock used the techniques of editing, dialogue and camera work to show an important idea of family. the director of the film you have studied use film techniques to present how any of the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit give meaning and purpose to our human existence. I think the idea was important because it showed that people who like, Michael, have been adopted into a home, can still live a happy life. This idea of family showed that you don’t need to be blood-related or come from the same environment to be part of a warm family. Michael Oher was a homeless boy who was adopted into a white home and the most important thing they gave him was a happy family.

Leanne brings up Michael to her friends, her friends react to the idea and got mean, nasty and even at one-point racist they were saying stuff like why would you adopt a man especially a black one that’s what fired her up and didn’t lash out but got very angry. I believe that the technique used most in this scene is scene another technique she used in this scene was close shot, these close shots show the emotion in the actor’s face which keeps our subconscious brain busy. One of gifts of the holy spirit used was courage and wisdom. Leanne used because she had to act angry when her 'friends' were rude about Michael, she used courage and wisdom to stand up for Michael when her friends were paying her out for adopting him, she didn't just sit there and play along with it, well she tried to for a while but then one of her 'friends' said the wrong thing and that got her very angry.
