Final Reflection During my internship at Lancaster-Lebanon IU 13, I had the opportunity to work with several departments, teachers, students, administrators and parents. I researched, support teachers and staff, provided instruction and created resources. One of the projects I researched technology solutions for an eportfolio and assisted in implementing the transition from a 3 ring binder to an eportfolio for IU13 Transition programs. During this project I created templates, trained teacher and assisted students in the process. Some of the teachers were very excited to use the eportfolios and others were not. This was a hard situation, when individuals are told that a new method is being used and the teacher does not want to change but, the administration is requiring the change. I want the teachers to be excited about the new possibilities. It is not an easy task to convince them to think positive about the eportfolio and new possibilities. This series was created at the request of program supervisors to increase the use of technology in the classroom such as BrainPop. This series is presented after school hours but I have been surprised by the low numbers. I was expecting groups of 10 to 15 yet, there are only five to seven teachers that are attending each session. The core group of teachers in the trainings have seen the same. That was the hope that the teachers would attend each session of the training which is why the group of sessions equals one contract day. The best part of the project had been having the teachers ask questions after they implement it in their classroom.
