In the opening of Fine Points, we can find the details about the two important characters in this story, the Narrator (I) and Margaret. The similarity in the shape and size of the body, telling that they are roommates and the narrator is very friendly with Margaret, have differences in taste / style of dress, explaining their position in the levels of education, tells the activities they usually do, it's all in my opinion is influential detail in this story. The story describes the real point of difference between the two of them in view of their couple. although they both already have a couple but they seemed to want to seek better, but what happened instead only Margaret is still looking to be what she wants. I think the most visible conflict is a conflict between Margaret and the narrator. This conflict may not be a serious conflict because it often occurs in relationships of friendship among women. They talked about their love life, get involved, and even criticized problems with each other. Margaret, who has the attractiveness of women is higher than the narrator, taught the narrator how should she behave when in dating with a men, what she must to do and what is the narrator regulate to herself - that is about how should the narrator dressed and tune up her beauty. Margaret also criticized what happened to the narrator after dating with Geoffrey Knacker. The narrator think if she got all dressed up and felt excited before and after she will feel different but she just get bored during their date. She criticized what was done by her to the extent that she also regretted her mistake in pick out clothes for the narrator. The differences were so visible because it seems like the narrator does not want to act as what Margaret expected. She was still conscious of herself and her position who have a boyfriend. Although it seems like she wants it, but it can not be she did. You could say that Margaret and the narrator is still in search of their identity because they still want to do things that previously they do not feel or do. One of the things they want to know and feel is kissing. At the middle of the story, at which time the narrator would go on a date, Margaret stressed that he had to get a kiss from Geoffrey Knacker. Similarly, when the narrator back directly thing asked is whether the narrator already get a kiss or even sleep together with Geoffrey Knacker. Although in the end, only Margaret that can feeling what is kissing, so she could have a real kiss statement that it is something that really solid, not just a daydream or something that is conceivable only.
