When electing a President it is important to choose somebody qualified who will be prepared to take on all five main roles that being the President requires. It would be very hard for somebody to have enough experience and qualifications to execute all five roles. They would be of a very old age which could be concerning because we would like our President to always be at his best and alive in order to execute his jobs and duties well. However, there are jobs and experiences that allow a candidate to be qualified for at least one or two of the roles. There are four main qualifying positions or experiences that all previous Presidents have had prior to their Presidency. Working in the Federal Executive branch, the Federal Legislative branch, the State Executive branch, or the Military are these four. She has worked with worked with the President and knows certain processes and how things work. If elected President, Mrs.Clinton would be prepared to act as the Chief Diplomat and Head of State. Hillary Clinton also has also occupied another qualifying position. She was a Senator, so she worked in the Federal Legislative branch of government. This previous experience may help her be prepared to act as the Legislative Leader. A previous governor who is a current candidate for the Presidency is Martin O’Malley. He is a former Governer of Maryland. He is qualified because he was a leader in the State Executive government.
