Knowing how pressured students can get in college regarding selecting the “perfect” major, I enjoyed Focus 2 and believe that the results are extremely accurate. The answers that I received after doing the assessments were exceptionally close to what I thought of myself and what I wanted to do career–wise. Using Focus 2 was satisfying and I believe it can be an extremely useful tool for young adults who are still unsure about their future. For the first test, I got an outcome of being a helper, an organizer, and creator. All three traits I strongly agree with. As far as being a “social helper” I do like to help the community and try to make an impact on the world. On the website, it also describes that these types of people like to work in groups and I do enjoy group projects or collaborating. As far as the organizer trait goes, I see that side of me especially during the school semesters. I enjoy having everything such as dates, written down in my planner and keeping all my files or papers in folders. Although it seems somewhat accurate; I do not enjoy working with numbers…at all. That has been the only thing I have disagreed with. Lastly, I got the creator trait and I definitely would say that I am artistic. I love drawing and making music and almost anything art–related. However, I didn’t agree with how they went about this test, because there were many options that I wanted to pick but I could only do three. Otherwise, I think this test is very accurate as well. It gave me many occupation proposals in the health field, which is what I have always wanted to go into, I just didn’t know what. I also got quite a few careers in education suggested to me, which at some point I considered. I just found it hard to pick a total of three when there were so many different categories with other traits that I thought described
