If you had the chance to be given love if you knew all the mistakes and sacrifices that came with it, would you take it? Throughout the pages of ‘ Oceans Apart’ by Karen Kingsbury I have gained such great knowledge of love from many different angles, though through all of these angles I believe Mrs. Kingsbury was trying to bring forth a lesson to her readers. The message I found hiding deep within her work was where there is love, there lives forgiveness. I believe fully in this claim for reading this has helped me dig deeper into this lesson. Seeing love from the many different characters and perspectives she portrays forgiveness in each and every one. Her lesson is fully supported with her phenomenal writing skills while bringing you to a relaxed state of mind in which plays a movie of the book you cannot put down. …show more content…

Connor is an airline pilot who has much guilt on his plate. Being an airline pilot doesn’t help with his stress or family life assuming he can be dragged away from his home and family without question or leaving him with an easy way to escape life’s stresses and hard times. Being away from home and in Honolulu while flying can lead Connor into some not so good situations including when meeting a beautiful airline assistant that seems to remind him of the love of his life back at home. Tempted by her beauty and kind words Connor seems unable to resist, resulting in a big mistake which will come back and haunt Connor later in life. His foolish decisions made by his clouded mind eventually find their way back to Connor’s home and to his beautiful wife whom has to learn to forgive Connor for his mistakes made in Honolulu so they can stay a couple and lovingly care for their children as if everything is
