In chapter 16, the monster who was filled with rage, swore revenge on humans especially on Victor, his creator, after being rejected by the family who lived in the cottage for no valid reason. As he traveled to Geneva to find his creator, he found a girl who is in deep trouble and about to drown. As he rescued her from the stream, he was seen by her guardian and shot by him. This caused the monster further anger and suffering. As he continued his travel to Geneva and healed his wound, he found a boy who is Victor’s younger brother, William. The monster approached him because he thought that he can be his companion but William became terrified and threatened the monster that he will be punished by his father, a Frankenstein. He reasoned that it is Victor’s obligation to make his creation happy. The monster promised that he will stop interacting with humans, the hatred, and him and his companion will live in the jungles of South America away from human contact. Victor refused at first but eventually complied to his creation’s demands. This made the monster really happy. In chapter 18, Victor is now planning on creating the second monster but he is still skeptical causing him to feel troubled. His father, Alphonse Frankenstein, noticed and tried to comfort him. Victor then wished to go back to England to create the monster. He travels to England with Henry Clerval, his close friend. In chapter 19, Victor visits parts of England and Scotland with his close friend, Henry. Victor wanted to commence his creation of the second monster and so he traveled to an isolated island in the Orkneys to execute his project. He went there so no one would bother or suspect him. As he starts his project, he feels uneasy and he is full of doubt whether to continue such project, but he did not
