Hitler was one of the greatest leaders of his time. The characteristics he demonstrated through his time of being chancellor were phenomenal. His tactics for control, his determination, and how he could manipulate all went into account when expressing how influential and prominent of a leader Hitler really was. Hitler was a man that liked total control over a situation, and to have no one else besides himself to have an option of becoming omnipotent. One leader that significantly resonates with a lot of people was Franklin D. Roosevelt. He is said to be one of the greatest leaders due to him being the only President of the United States to ever be elected more than twice. One reason Roosevelt was said to be influential was that through tough times, he had determination and persevered. He was diagnosed with infantile paralysis at the age of thirty-nine. He didn’t let this get in the way of his presidency, and if anything, it made him stronger. “Many people thought paralysis would be an insurmountable obstacle to a political career, but instead of giving up, with the help of his wife, Roosevelt developed a bold, active personal style that more than compensated for his inability to stand without assistance.” This explains by having an inhibiting factor, Roosevelt learned to overcome it and promote a more courageous presentation. Nevertheless, this doesn't make him the most influential leader during WWII, while it is a inhibitor towards a variety of tasks, just being paralyzed does not impair one's ability to think and enlighten
