There were numerous factors that contributed to the successful American Revolution. For example, the people who willingly fought against the British were pivotal for America’s independence. To clarify, George Washington commanded the Continental Army to perilous battles, Thomas Paine wrote a pamphlet that persuaded vast amounts of people to support the rebellion, Benjamin Franklin leadingly spoke against the Stamp Act and assisted the writing of the Declaration of Independence, and Thomas Jefferson wrote the original draft of the Declaration.
