Have you read Romeo and Juliet? Romeo and Juliet is a tragedy written by William Shakespeare. He was an English writer, born in 1564 who earned a reputation as a playwright. The tragedy is about Romeo and Juliet falling in love but they have complications with their romance. If you have read this tragedy, who do you think is at fault? The ones that are at fault are Friar Lawrence and Friar John because they didn't explain the plan to Romeo, so he killed himself when he saw Juliet dead, or so he thought. Friar Lawrence was the man that married Romeo and Juliet. When Romeo came to him, he asked him to marry them together. Friar Lawrence said, “In one respect I'll thy assistant be; for this alliance may so happy prove. To turn your household's rancor to pure love.” This meant that Friar Lawrence wanted something out of this marriage. But there was the problem: Juliet’s father had arranged for her to marry Paris. The only way out of that marriage was an interesting plan that involved Juliet taking a poison that partially killed her for some time. Before Juliet took the potion I was doubting but she said, “Romeo, I come! This do I drink to thee.” Romeo found her dead; he also killed himself and then Juliet killed herself.
