In the tragedy Romeo and Juliet two teenagers fall deeply in love but sadly their families have a disastrous feud. The lovebirds go to the priest Friar Lawrence and they are trying to figure if he can possibly marry them . Paris the gentleman , that Lord Capulet wants Juliet to marry goes and talks to Friar Lawrence about the upcoming wedding. Unfortunately, Juliet does not want to marry Paris because of her strong feelings for Romeo . Juliet rushes down to Friar’s cell and talks to him about how she does not want to marry Paris . On site with Friar Lawrence Juliet threatens to kill herself if she has to marry him . Quickly thinking Friar Lawrence comes up with a brilliant solution which is to give her a purified liquor that will make her seem dead …show more content…

Fearing she will not wake up Juliet takes the potion . When the Capulets send the Nurse to wake Juliet the Nurse just thinks she’s in a deep sleep but then she realizes that Juliet is dead . When Romeo hears that Juliet is dead he rushes to the city of Verona which he is banned from . Romeo goes to a Apothecary and persuades by bribing him to sell a deadly poison . Romeo is being chased by police he shoots back st them and is able to get inside the Capulet church where Juliet is being viewed. Walking up to Juliet's casket Romeo is crying . He has flashbacks of their moments together , but when he is finished he gets the poison not knowing that Juliet is twitching he drinks it and quickly falls to his death . Juliet cries really hard and then she begins to think of him and in the movie she grabs the gun and shoots herself in her head . Yes , I believe somewhat Friar Lawrence does have a part in the deaths of the teenagers . It is partially his fault because the news never reached Romeo . Friar Lawrence felt terrible about the deaths but , he was really upset that they didn't get to marry each other . The families finally end their long lasting feud and the Prince stated that Verona paid a high
