Why would people want to kill Romeo and Juliet. The play Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet by William shakespeare is about two lovers madly in love, but can’t be together because of their families feud which leads to their death. Friar Laurence, Romeo, and Juliet are responsible for Romeo and Juliet's death in William Shakespeare's play Romeo and juliet.
First of all, Friar Laurence is responsible for Romeo and Juliet's death because he was very secretive.No doubt, Friar laurence married Romeo and Juliet to quickly because they only met two times before the marriage, they are also were too young to be getting married. Second of all, Friar Laurence made a potion for Juliet to drink because if he never married Romeo and Juliet he wouldn't have to make a potion for Juliet to drink. On the other hand, Friar Laurence left the Capulet's tomb when he heard people coming because of that Juliet stabs herself. Afterward, Romeo killed tybalt right after tybalt killed mercutio. Romeo kills tybalt and runs off. This proves he is compelled for their death because if he never ran off he wouldn't have to drink poison and Juliet wouldn't have to stab herself. Next, Romeo got banished from verona for killing tybalt. Because of that Romeo couldn't be in verona to receive information about the potion that juliet had to drink.
