Education is what runs countries; it is the lifeline to the next generation to make things better. Without education history will repeat itself, we would continue to make the same mistakes we made a thousand years ago or it would holt the process of evolution for our species. Without education we couldn’t move forward. With India being 75,000 they should have one of the best education in the world well that is simply not true. In recent years India has gone from a third world country into a developing country and the education system is changing in a very positive way. India has a strong focus on academic subjects with very little involvement for extracurricular activities. India schools method tend to emphasis rote learning and memorization(internet source 1) They don’t focus on the new strategies that American education focus on such as Universal design learning or deffentitation learning. India education system is structured as followed. Pre School is not compulsory; the Montessori system is especially popular at the preschool level (internet source 1). Private play school is catering for children between the ages of 18 months and three (internet source), kindergarten is divided into lower kindergarten (for three-to four year olds) and upper kindergarten (for four to five year olds)(internet source 1), Primary school first to fifth standard, middle school fifth to eight year old, secondary school ninth through tenth, higher secondary or pre university 11th and 12th grade, Undergraduate BA is a three year degree.
