My career goal is to become a Supervisor within the claims department at GEICO. An undergraduate degree will help to provide knowledge and skills to manage a team of associates. Obtaining a higher education will help enhance your critical thinking skills, time management skills, self-esteem and communication skills. Also it helps to create a competitive advantage when applying for other positions within the company. When applying for positions you want to stand out from others, therefore your degree will demonstrate your ability to absorb, analyze and understand information.

I agreed with the assessment because I love helping, teaching and working with people. I value my reputation and always wanted to make sure I am doing what’s right. I work for a company where one of the operating principles it to have uncompromising integrity. I love to investigate and find solutions to problems. I am always being told by others that I should have been a lawyer or detective. I am an outgoing person and feels as if I never meet any strangers. I enjoy meeting new people and taking on new roles or tasks. With actively pursuing my degree I will agree that my self-esteem has increased which helps with my presentation skills and communicating with others. My critical thinking skill has improved. Before making a decision I gather, analyze, interpret and check for understanding. The one area that I still need improvement in is time management.
