My assigned part was about the short-term, medium-term, and long-term HR issues and relative recommendations in terms of reward approach. After reviewing and understanding the whole part, I reviewed the given documents in class and did research about academic and governmental analysis.
In the short-term, Gamescorp PLC is planning to expand into European market starting from three countries in Western and Southern Europe. The senior management team has decided to have the initial stores to be open in Paris, Berlin, and Milan, after a commissioned extensive market research. These stores are planning to be open at the end of next year.

In the medium-term, there should be a European HR department built within three years. Thus, the HR difficulties are significant for short-term and medium-term. According to the analysis of the manager of workforce trends at SHRM, applicants tend to be lack of working experience and relevant skills. 59 percent of HR professionals reported some level of basic skills deficit among job applicants, and 84 percent reported applied skills shortages in job applicants over the last year. Thus, in the short-term and medium-term, the company is required to build an appropriate and clear recruitment process, as well as an effective training program. An effective training program allows employees to strengthen those skills that they need to improve. A development program brings all employees to a higher level so that they all have similar skills and knowledge. Employees will be able to learn specific knowledge and skills to improve performance in their jobs in the future. HR department should design a balanced and focused training program, which includes business impact identification, skill gaps analysis, motivation, skills mastery, critical thinking and effectiveness and sustain gains analysis. Training at regular intervals will also help employees to catch up with the market and customer requirements and keep employee loyalty as I will mention
