G1) One of the points is that effective leadership and management requires one to build a strong relationship with the employees. It is the obligation of the managers to provide leadership that can bring all employees together so that they can help the organization achieve its goals.

The other point is that managers should always allow all employees either in individual capacity or in group to play a part in the activities of the organization. There should be no discrimination within an organization and every stakeholder ought to be heard.

The other key point is that it is always important for leaders to help their employees in developing their skills and talents within an organization.

With respect to this theory, it is clear that Google is always entitled to provide awareness and motivate employees. Google has a responsibility of making sure that it brings its employees together.

On work and motivation, one of the theories that relate to Google case study is equity theory. Google is noted to generate many dollars as profits and this means it pays its employees well. However, payment allowed cannot keep the individuals working for the company satisfied, there are other issues to consider such as ensuring that employees receive fair treatments.

On managing groups& teams the theory that relates to Google case study is teamwork theory. Google being one of the largest companies world need to always make sure it manages its employees accordingly so that they can feel motivated and acknowledged.

Section H (Week 10): Working With Journal Articles

One of the key issues that I intend to analyze is applying various theories that I have learned so far. Being able to employ the use of these theories will help to a higher extent in understanding various concepts that I have learned with respect to organization behaviour. Some of the theories that I am looked forward to use include those that relate to management and leadership, and those that relate to motivation. The other issue that I will address is paraphrasing, citing and referencing accordingly. This will help in making sure that my work is plagiarism free because I will acknowledge authors whom I borrow their information.

2. Some of the main theories that I plan to use include behavioural theories. These theories which include; autocratic, democratic and transformational among others will help in providing detailed information about various issues that relate to management and leadership.

Other theories that I plan to employ include those that relate to work motivation. Example of theories that I plan to use in this category include, Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory and Equity theory. These theories will help to a higher extent in discussing issues relating to work and motivation. More importantly, the theories will assist in developing a detailed essay that addresses critical issues that relate to organization behaviour.
