After being reported to the police, Mr. and Mrs. Miles were told they would have to purchase a $50 business license for a business and the activity would be taxable in accordance with City of Augusta’s Business License Ordinance. Mr. and Mrs. Miles eventually challenged the constitutionality of the Business License Ordinance enacted by City of Augusta, Georgia. As a result of Richard’s strict religious household, he became a very angry person. Richard would torture and kill animals during his youth. This is a sign of antisocial behavior and is common in most serial killers.
Greg Ousley Greg Ousley at age 14 was convicted of the murder of his two parents Bonnie and Jobie on Feb. 23, 1993.On June 26, 2012, the supreme court was to make a decision on his whether he should be released, and it was decided that he will stay in prison. Greg has spent 24 years in prison thinking about what he has done and there should be a decision to be made in March 2019 having to do with his case. In my opinion, Greg should be released and paroled in 2019, Although he has a life sentence I think it is best that he connects with the real world out of prison. At the age of 14, Greg Ousley's brain had not been developed to fully understand the consequences of his actions. Before he murdered his parents there had been signs that he was struggling but there was no acknowledgment towards him, therefore, he is not fully at fault.
They want other people to go through the same kind of pain. One serial killer that really stands out to me is Donald Gaskins also known as The Hitchhikers’ Killer. Donald Gaskins was born on March 13, 1933 in Florence County, South Carolina. At an early age, Gaskins was teased and given the nickname “Pee Wee” because of him having a small body frame. Violence and ridicule was always apart of Gaskins life.
In 1973, he committed one of his more gruesome murders when he raped and murdered two of his neighbours: a pregnant 23-year-old and her 1-year-old daughter. That same year, he bought a hearse and put a sign in the window which read: We haul anything, living or dead. With a reputation for being explosive, many tried to avoid him. But nobody suspected he was a serial killer. Two years on, a woman hired Gaskins to kill her boyfriend.
Gary Ridgeway, also known as the green river killer, killed forty-eight people in his life time. John Wayne Gacy is a serial killer who killed 33 people in total. He was born on May 17th 1942 in Chicago where he was physically and verbally abused by his father. Since this age he showed unusual behaviours and avoiding society, but then was determined that he has a psychological disorder. He moved to Los Angeles and was living a normal life however he started showing his real face in 1968 where he raped a young, male employee.
Ed Gein was an infamous American serial killer who was born in Wisconsin, on August 27th, 1906. Ed Gein grew up with his eldest brother Henry and violent alcoholic father, George P. Gein, with whom he never had a relationship with, in a house that was dictated by his enthusiastically religious mother, Augusta Crafter, and her sermons of sin, Augusta passed on her notion to her children, that all women aside from herself were whores. Gein’s mother ran their humble family business and later on bought a farm on the border of a small town to avoid strangers influencing her two sons. The only time Ed was ever given permission to leave his home was to go to school, where he was preyed on by bullies. Ted Bundy was a notorious serial murderer who’s reign of terror lasted from 1974 to 1978. Bundy was convicted of three homicides and was sentenced to death for all three charges. However, at the time of his execution, Bundy confessed to 30 murders however the exact number of victims is still unknown. Bundy’s crimes evolved over time but he was both a sexual sadist and a necrophiliac serial killer. At the beginning of his rampage, Bundy would sneak into the victims house in the middle of the night, violently attack them while they were sleeping with a blunt object and then Bundy would usually sexually assault them.

During this time a man, a psychopath really, was terrorizing the people with his deranged antics. The concept of psychopaths and sociopaths in Western society and culture is not clearly defined, and covers a great range of character, attitudes and behaviour. This range includes everything from someone who is introverted and not socially adept to mass murderers and cannibals. Characters of psychopaths in early films were often created without a real understanding of psychopathic personalities. They were often portrayed as caricatures, being emotionally unstable, sadistic, sexually compulsive and with an urge to engage in random violence, murders, and destruction. This was often accompanied by bizarre mannerisms, such as giggling, laughing, or facial tics, often creating famous but unreal characters.
