The age old question of electric vehicles versus the commonly used gas cars. With all the benefits of using electric over gas, it's hard to see why more people aren't using them. This is a great problem because it hurts the environment. Common things people will argue with gas versus electric are: price point, power output, and usability/practicality. People could argue over a million points on why gas is better than electric. But I am here to explain why electric is superior to gasoline engines. When some think of an electric car they think of an exotic over the top car, and when others think of an electric car they think of a wimpy Toyota leaf. But as you could expect the more you spend on a car the more it includes. You could easily spend …show more content…
It's not like the cars are made out of un-sanded oak and spin on bark wheels. These cars are the same as other vehicles, with the exception of all the batteries anchoring the car down. I can use this car company all day but, I do it only because other companies are too scared to make a good electric car; Tesla. The amount of craftsmanship and time that goes into designing these cars is insurmountable. These cars are built by 95 percent robots, this speeds up build times for the high demand, and increases accuracy and precision that can be lost from a human worker. Just looking at the inside of any of the Tesla's you would see the complexity in its design, yet still keeping it simple for the common person. Also as far as range is concerned the Tesla pushes nearly 300 miles of range, not to mention that it can parallel park itself, drive itself into your garage, and drive on the highway by itself. And if you pull the common mistake of forgetting to charge it in the morning, you are still covered to get to work and make it home. And if not there are many charging stations near you, unless you live in a small town, then why did you even buy this car in the first place? Why not a truck or
