Menzies alleges that’s these islands-Satanazes, and Antilla, are actually Guadeloupe, and Puerto Rico. Menzies bolsters this claim, by pointing to the fact that the red island to the north of Santanazes (Guadeloupe), is drawn with 3 bays, just as it would be drawn from off the coast, and that the Portuguese words “con emanar” seem to indicate a volcano that erupted there. Although there is indeed a volcano that did indeed erupt on the island of Guadeloupe in the 1400s, the Portuguese words “con emanar” cannot be confirmed to mean “volcano erupts.” The islands of Guadeloupe and Puerto Rico are not in correlation with one another, as on the chart they are depicted in a “north and south” relation to one another, while the two are really northwest geographically from each other. Also, the island of Puerto Rico has been flipped vertically to horizontally, to compare it with Puerto Rico, while Satanazes has been turned upside down to compare with the actual island of Guadeloupe, in relation to Europe. At a close glance, the island of Antilla derives from a Spanish legend, in which during the Moorish invasion of Iberia, seven catholic bishops, along with their followers, band together and sailed into the Atlantic, founding 7 cities on the island.
