The many subjects we have gone in the semester of and Teen Titans have given lots of examples of the curriculum we have gone over. Gender roles are where the women are powerful beings even stronger than the men usually. Races are being judged just by the looks and power of the race. The social group that they have can also change the way someone feels even when it’s just just theirs. The sex and sexuality side of it isn’t changed because it is strictly heterosexual. Gender roles in Teen Titans are a lot of the times switched and there’s one gender switch that’s always there. The entire series shows how much stronger Starfire and Raven are making them more important to other people’s eyes. Such as raven who is part azarathian and part demon hybrid as well as the daughter of Trigon the most powerful demon in Hell. Starfire, the princess of Tamaran, she is highly respected and she is very powerful. They were revealed in two different episodes. Throughout the series they were multiple heterosexual romances. Robin and Starfire had a on-going sexual tension yet nothing was shown as in attraction but they ended up dating anyways. In episode 3 season 2 they find a teenager by the name of Terra and that was the beginning of Beast boy and Terra and they had dated until they had to be broken up because she left by Slade a super villain forcing her to leave. In episode 1 of season 3 Cyborg was told to infiltrate the hive headquarters and he ended up falling for a villain by the name of Jinx yet they never “officially” dated they would obviously flirt in fight scenes between the Hive and the Teen
