Did you know Renaissance comes from a French word that means rebirth? Renaissance life-levels of power, authority, and responsibility was a huge concept back then and most definitely interesting to learn about. The power, authority, and responsibility that someone holds could be differentiated depending on the social class, gender, or age of the person. There were many different roles back then such as, lords, ladies, adolescents, nurses, friars, pages, and servants. This concept happened way back and is definitely not what most people go off of today. Most of the people back then worked a lot and had it pretty rough, but if you were a lord then you most like had it easier and loved being a lord. The teenagers would learn how to be prepared for adulthood early since they did not have a long childhood and learning the basics of survival, learning how to do business, and housework was their main responsibility (Children's lives in the Middle Ages and the Renaissance.
