1. What is revealed about human nature (from Genesis 1-2)?
Although the first two chapters of Genesis mainly discourses the creation of the universe, it also illustrates what is expected of human nature, as God intended. Humanity was blessed by God, as we are his creation, since we were creating in his likeliness. “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness.” (Genesis 1:26 NIV) An indication that humanity possess similar characteristics to the ones held by God, therefore, it is Human nature to be kind, loving, grateful, obedient, truthful, devoted, and unashamed. Therefore, it was human nature to accept God, as he is our creator and in that moment, as described in the textbook “everything is in the right.” (Hiles & Smith, 2015, para. 1)

I suppose there are different ways one can perceive their purpose in life, why they make the choices that they make, as well as what it means to grow. It may be difficult sometimes for me to understand a worldview that is different from my own. Although, I suppose a person with an atheistic perspective may believe that our purpose in life is to be in control, and rise above our highest potential. Which would be unlike our own, since their main purpose may be to serve themselves rather than others. They would probably believe that we were created as a cosmic accident, as well as only what can be proven by science. As for as the actions we take, they would base it on what we have learned by the culture, as well as atmosphere around us.
