A Biography of Martin Cash Martin Cash ‘The Gentleman Bush Ranger’ was born in 1810 and was son to George and Martin Cash. He was born in Enniscorthy, Country Wexford in Ireland. (Cash, 1843) Martin was raised with his younger brother in a fairly wealthy family by his mother, as their father neglected them and spent his time ruining himself and wasting his money. Because of this, his education was neglected as his parents could not get him to attend school regularly and combined with his mischievousness resulted in his expulsion from three different schoolmasters.

Although there have been many things I’ve heard about, this man this man has done great things in Arkansas .He has been there to help us through good times ,and bad time my person has helped us through I am going to be talking about is Douglas MacArthur. Here are a some facts and some reason why I pick this person and why he was such a great Arkansas hero. Douglas MacArthur was born on January 26, 1880 in Little Rock Arkansas. He was born to the parents of Captain Arthur MacArthur and his wife, Mary Pinkney Hardy, and he was the third son of the family. His dad was Arthur MacArthur had served in the Wisconsin Twenty-fourth Volunteer Infantry Regiment during the Civil War and was stationed at the Little Rock Barracks (“Spurgeon”).

MacArthur first gained notoriety during World War I, where he served as chief of staff of the 42nd (Rainbow) Division.

Native American Research: Chief Pontiac Intro Chief Pontiac is a Native American that is important to the United States’ history. He was a part of the Ottawa tribe and led the American Indians to a revolution also known as the Pontiac War or Pontiac’s Rebellion, which was against the British when they first came to America. He wasn’t afraid to die for his rights. He believed that they all had rights to live in America and to live how they wanted to live. I chose him for my Native American Research because he was a courageous Native American hero.
George Washington Carver was born in Diamond Grove, Missouri in January of 1864. His parents were Mary and Giles Carver, and their master was Moses Carver (the slave took up their owner’s last name.) Giles, George’s father left his mother before he was born, only to leave Mary, his mother, to raise George on her own. However, later on, Mary and George were kidnapped by northern raiders to be sold in Arkansas. George was returned frail, feeble and scrawny infant a year later in 1865 with no sign of his mother.

Custer planned a surprise attack but he get spotted before he was able to do it. So he decided to attack without anymore waiting. His scouts warned him that the village is very big but he didn 't hear on them. And so he ran into his crushing defeat.
