Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck, is a story set during the Great Depression when the two main characters, Lennie and George, just went across the country searching for jobs and is now in California. This novel emphasizes on the importance of friendship. Throughout the novel George is faced with the recurring problem of Lennie causing trouble and George always having to get him out of it.
