There is no way a child in today’s society can grow up without hearing the word “college”. A college is an educational institution or establishment. The importance of college has skyrocketed in recent years. It’s encouraged in schools all across America to go to college so that the chances of success in life is almost certain. Although people become successful without college through one-in-a-million chances, like Steve Jobs, the co-founder of Apple, college is something everyone should do if they want to be successful. People should go to college because those who go are open to more opportunities than those who only graduate high school. When people get to experience an education after high school, they have the opportunity to read more books and listen to lectures of top experts in their fields of learning. This encourages people to think, ask questions, and explore new ideas, which allows for additional growth and development.
