When acquiring a college degree you benefit greatly. The pay you get at any job will be raised if you have worked for a college degree, some jobs won’t even look at your resume if you don’t have a degree. Many people chose not to go to college, but roughly about 1/3 of high school students continue their education at college. Overall you get a higher job satisfaction if you have snagged a college degree. I would much rather be looked up to, rather than looking up to someone who has continued their education. I would like to promote my education at Fairmont State University after I graduate from Preston High School. Fairmont State University has a wide range of studies you could go into from your paramedic certification to Master of science-criminal justice Graduate program. FSU additionally, has many sports and extracurricular activities always going on. The tuition for twelve plus credit hours is $2,823 a semester. Fairmont State also has over eighty student organizations including Student Government, Fraternities, and Sororities, Music groups, Religion clubs and many other organizations. I need to have a 3.0 accumulative G.P.A. to get into the criminal justice program at Fairmont state. I will be going to study in white collar crimes just for the general knowledge; white collar crimes are very hard crimes to investigate. Obtaining a criminal justice degree would make me extremely ecstatic. A six year master’s degree in criminal justice would help me pursue my dream to become a criminal investigator; a two year associate’s paramedic certification would give me more job opportunities in the public service job
