General description
The Golden Penda is a rainforest tree which typically grows between 10 - 15 metres high. It it capable of growing up to 20 metres high if in its natural environment but is shorter in cultivation.

Foliage: consists of large, lance-shaped, shiny green leaves.
Flowers: flowering plant which it’s flowers posses a predominant bright yellow colour and form clusters near the ends of the branches. Flowering occurs between Summer and Autumn. Produces pollen which attracts wildlife such as: Bees, Butterflies, and nectar eating Birds.

Distribution and climate
The Golden Penda is located mostly in the Coastal rainforests in North Queensland. However, it can also be found in New Caledonia, New Guinea, Indonesia and the Philippines.
