The media is the backbone to a country and is a powerful tool with the potential to manipulate and influence people into believing what is being broadcasted. The Chinese government uses this power to censor lies and the truth for the benefit of their country, however Australia’s government does not, and leaves the media to have freedom over what they broadcast with no restrictions or censorship. In China, all land is owned by the government and is issued out to its people evenly according to their needs and can be taken away with no compensation. Wages are widely the same as it is seen that no job is more important than another and all of them are needed to have a fully functional country. The media is controlled by the Government and the internet is strictly monitored and regulated with harsh punishments if caught browsing censored sites. In Australia everything you buy you own and each jobs wages and salaries are according on their educational requirements and importance in its area. The Australian government can still take land away from people however have to compensate for the land. Both countries use have a political system where the citizens go to vote for their party however China’s leading party has over 80 million employees which goes against parties with only hundreds. The Government does this so the citizens of China are not aware of what their country is doing behind there back. Many case of national issues in China were censored in 2015 and were only broadcasted to countries outside Asia. No website is allowed to report public news without specifying the sources, or report news without the governments consent and modification.
