The President of the United States is the face of the government and the figure people turn to most to voice their concerns. The president doesn't do it all alone though. It's impossible to manage a country by yourself. For that reason, the president appoints a collection of people to lead the various departments. Do you know them all?
Tyrannical leaders have been present back into the beginning of time, leaders who take full control with absolute power over their people and territory. You’d think that with the changing of times and the advancement of humankind, there would be more civilized ways of ruling. Especially with the creation of the great constitution of the united states of America. This should help the presidents to stray away from a dictatorial and authoritarian rule with the new implication of checks and balances and separation of powers. We think of presidents to be inspirational, promising to make the country great and stronger.
Even though Congress and the president are pretty much evenly split (49% Congress & 51% the president) with their powers, the president holds powers that Congress does not. He is the Chief Diplomat and the Commander in Chief. The president also holds an inherent power with executive orders. Executive orders give the president the ability to make some policies without the approval of Congress. Executive orders can be used to force Congress into making foreign policy by the president, through treaties.
The president has the power to send troops anywhere at any time. Also, the president also holds responsibility of secrecy when it comes to holding confidential information, whether it be about the military or national security, etc. Furthermore, the president is an influencer of public opinion. He can easily sway public opinion through reciting speeches or making propaganda. Public opinion of this nature can even run worldwide.
Tyranny is everywhere, the only way it’s not is if we can prevent it ourselves. One of America’s first governments was the Articles of confederation. The Articles of Confederation was shown to be corrupt and couldn’t get the job done, the government didn’t consist of any sort of chief executive, no court system and a weak central government, due to the inability of the government to enforce taxes. The people decided it needed to go. James Madison and a group of men decided to come together in an event known as the Cconstitutional Cconvention, in order to create a new system of government.
Comparatively, Absolutism, nationalism, socialism, communism, totalitarianism, Islamism, and republicanism all share commonalities due to the depiction they show of how leadership roles or platforms developed. However, absolutism, nationalism and republicanism seem to all share the period they arose to each individual society. These specific government forms were all a result of a pursuit for change while many others were still in the fight for democracy within the 19th century. Even more so, two other forms of governments that share commonalities were socialism and communism. Both forms of governments advocate the equalization of the state by sharing all resources with society.
While a majority of people think that “Night” is night, whose meaning is the chronological order of the time of the day. However, it’s not, the meaning is totally disorder. The “Night” comes from an oldest book, the Rig Vedas, the one with the bountiful literary values and religion beliefs which made by the oldest civilization of ancient India; “Night” is one of the hymns from the Rig Veda which mainly praise to the goddess. Before in an oligarchy or in a monarchy one person or group made the decisions about everything. This is a very basic similarity though, as the groups in each democracy do completely different things. The current American Democracy split up their responsibilities into three separate branches. These checks and balances are called; judiciary, legislative and executive. The leader of the country or president as we call him is contained in the executive branch.
Powerful Governments A government is to be in charge of the economic affairs, policy, and actions of a country. There are various types of governments, with laws and restrictions that citizens are to follow. These laws and restrictions can easily be taken to extremes as portrayed in George Orwell’s 1984.
Many times, a legislature in an authoritarian regime can act as a whipping boy for the regime's agenda. During elections or mock elections, legislatures may create a single party system or manipulate election rules that will ultimately lead to the election of those who share the views of the regime. Furthermore, legislatures under authoritarian regimes often appoint representatives and pass legislation that will benefit the regime and silence those who seek to speak out against the authoritarian government. But how exactly is a legislature controlled by an authoritarian regime?
Presidential systems of government have a separation of executive and legislative power, with each party elected separately. This is intended to provide a system of checks and balances to ensure each party is acting in the best interests of the people with the legislative power handling policy making and the president handling policy implementation. Cabinet systems of government rely on a fusion of executive and legislative functions and structures. In this case the people elect the cabinet members who then go on to elect a chief executive. This type of government relies on the cabinet and chief executive to have faith in each other as at any time either party can decide the other is behaving incorrectly and have the people elect a new cabinet.

In order to compare and contrast varying types of government within two or more countries, one must have a clear definition of Government and know the purposes it serves. Therefore, I did some research and I have established that Government is a group that exercises dominant power over a nation, state, society or other body of people. Governments are commonly responsible for constructing and implementing laws, handling money, and defending the general population from external threats, and may have other obligations or privileges. All over the world, there are many different types of government within countries. Each kind has its advantages as well as disadvantages regarding the general well-being of its peoples and economy.
The Constitution defines the president as the executive who puts into effect the laws Congress passes. The president is elected every four years, and can only be re-elected once. The president is both the head of state and head of government of the USA, and the Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces. The president is also responsible for the execution and enforcement of the laws created by Congress. The president of the USA is by many considered the most powerful man in the world.
