At some point in our lives, we have all been lost whether it be in a new place or a new environment. It could also be just within the old premises that changed so much without us noticing it, even if we have resided there for as long as we could remember. This certain place you thought you knew like the back of your hand, but end up realizing that what you knew is not even half of its colossal entirety. And since we are constantly afraid of every dark corner, we often choose to settle and build camp in the parts where it is safe and familiar; but what if you are forcefully thrown out of this comfort? What would you do?

This is the reason why I ceaselessly pushed myself to become better as the years passed by; but at the culmination of it, nothing much changed, after all I was still in the selfsame place where I was before. Considering that everyone around me was also improving nicely, my efforts were rendered futile. When I left that hectic environment, it felt akin a breath of fresh air as the pressure to become one of the best was lifted from my shoulders. I can improve my knowledge and skills in my own time, at my own pace. I was free to do it in any way I want to and I was given the space I needed, so I consider that as the reason that allowed me to grow. I achieved a rank of 13 in my batch, and ranked 10th out of all the STEM students at the ending of my Grade 11 journey. This entire episode is one of the particularly memorable
