Some of the poems and songs can relate to other things. A common theme for The boy who fought hitler and Amiras song is to Persevere through hard times and to never give up. This is common theme because Ben has to escape the ghetto and Amira has to pursue her dreams of singing. For Ben, this shows the theme of his story because it is up to him to save his family from the war. He is jewish and so is his family, but were forced into ghetto because Hitler didn't like Jews. He became a partisan which could have jeopardized his family because Partisans fought the Nazi's, not along side them.
Little Richard first released “Tutti Frutti” in 1955, and Elvis Presley released his version in 1956. Both versions of the songs sound similar in that they invoke a feeling of happiness and a desire to get up and dance. However, these songs are not identical. The lyrics for both versions are almost identical except for a few extra non-word sounds at the end of some lines.
The song “Yankee Doodle Dandy” was utilized by the British in a satiric manner during the Revolutionary War, declaring the colonial troops as “country bumpkins” unfit for battle. Over the course of the war, the composition of “Yankee Doodle Dandy” adapted over one hundred and ninety versions varying in insults from the British criticizing the Americans and vice versa. Oftentimes during the battle, the British played the tune, mocking the rebels. Nearing the end of the war, this song obtained the title as the New Republic’s national anthem; despite the original objective of the piece. “Yankee Doodle Dandy” shares a similar tune to that of “Lucy Locket”, and the rendition performed throughout the duration of the Revolutionary War is believed
Theme: Friendship Song: “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” – Randy Newman “You've got a friend in me. You got troubles then I got them too. We stick together, we can see it through cause you've got a friend in me.” Justification: This song relates to the relationship George and Lennie had because even though Lennie was always getting in trouble, George was beside him no matter what. Also, when they got to the ranch, Slim said to them that is not common to see such good friends like George and Lennie, who travel together and look out for each other.

In this piece of song, it sounds like Billie Holiday is leading the track. When you listen to the song, singer’s voice is very prominent. Usually in the music, instruments and singer’s voice are harmonized well together. However, in this song, instruments are complementing into her voice. Especially in the dynamics part, it is easily known that the instruments are following to her lead; the instruments are always a bit behind her voice.

Imagine Dragons is a classic boy band consisting of four members, Dan Reynolds (vocalist), Daniel Wayne Sermon (guitarist), Ben McKee (bass), and Daniel Platzman (drums). They were originally from Las Vegas. Imagine Dragons have been around since 2008 but they didn’t become popular until 2013, with their release of Night Vision. Night Vision has 11 songs on it and the most popular ones are “Radioactive” “Demons” and “On Top of the World”. Night Visions was their first big hit and without that album Imagine Dragons would not be where they are today.
Hip-hop is an influential form of music that displays an artist’s honest and revealing story that many of the general public can relate to. One of the many songs that I can relate to is “Love Yourz” written by J Cole. The song talks about how Cole reflects on the most important things in life such as love and happiness. He realizes that the money and fame didn’t bring him the happiness he desired. To gain true happiness, he needed to appreciate himself and those that love him.
The five song playlist that I chose is Fireworks, Set fire to the rain, The way, Love the way you lie and Firestones. All of these songs relates to the novel in different ways. Guy Montag had committed mistakes that he might regretted.
As time passes, people often think of their pasts and what they have done in their life, both positively and negatively. The lyrics of the song resonate with everyone, even the famous singer Macklemore who produced the song “Good Old Days.” In the song, he reflects on his past and the times he missed or regretted. Macklemore also writes “We’ve come so far, I guess I’m proud” which also shows that he’s happy with the choices he made and that they have gotten him to where he is now—a famous musician and writer. The music in the song has an upbeat and appealing tone to it with excellent lyrics, which made it a top 40 song in the U.S.
