America- the land of opportunity, the land of the great. There hasn’t been a time when America hasn’t been great, however improvements are always underway for continued greatness. I can attest to a great America that exhibits qualities such as environmental prosperity, unlimited educational opportunities, and promoted health and wellness ventures. We must incorporate the best aspects of life into the American dream in order for the dream to fulfill the wants and needs of it pursuers. In following, ignorance is the root of all evil. Education is hands-down the key that allows people to unlock closed doors. The places around America that have little or no education are also the most poverty stricken, unhealthy, and crime ridden; the correlation here is direct. People participate in criminal activity, practice unhealthy lifestyles, and are condemned to poverty because they do not “know” …show more content…
The values these activities reflect are: self-expression, adventure, companionship, and quest. The more productive fun and social activities that include physical activities, such as sports, or things like “camper camping” should not be limited to certain people or certain areas. The resolution to this problem is unclear but a start would be the promotion of these more beneficial activities through the media- in which is the same way the unproductive activities are promoted. Next, the environment is not out of sight but is it out of mind. Unlike the most environmentally friendly country in the world, Sweden, America produces the most, and waste the most resources. As well as neglects renewable energy sources and the preservation of our ecosystems. These are major deficiencies with major consequences. An example of a simple improvement in protecting our ecosystems would be the development of bike roads cognate to that of Rails to Trails Conservancy of Washington,
