How do you know is if someone is a hero or a tyrant? A tyrant is a single ruler who abuses his power. A hero is a person who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities. During the French, Mexican, and Haitian revolution there were a lot of tyrannical actions, but there were also a lot of heroic actions to challenge the existing social, political and economic system.
To decrease climate change, citizens can garden, reduce the use fossil fuels, and monitor where their food comes from. These life changes can make the ordinary citizen a combatant against global warming and climate
Other options for organisations are by reducing waste in the workplace through reuse and recycling efforts that have a positive impact on the environment. Less office waste means less trash in landfills. Recycling paper, aluminium cans, ink cartridges and even office machinery and equipment can help reduce the global environmental impact of consumer consumption. Whenever we burn fossil fuels, we release excess amounts of greenhouse gases into our atmosphere. The Liberal government plans on resolving this issue by reducing the environmental footprint of each Canadian. In order to do so we will move on to more renewable and environmentally-friendly ways of energy generation. We will conduct more research and development in order to make renewable resources such as solar, wind, tidal and geothermal, more easy to harness and implement them into various modes of transportation and public institutions. When we breathe in radon gas, the toxic particles actually stick to our lungs and have the ability to alter our cells. The EPA’s acceptable level of radon gas is hundreds of times higher than the acceptable levels of carcinogens in our food and beverages. The new law does not require mitigation be completed for homes with unsafe levels, but only that the home be tested before a sale. Consider how much time your family spends in the basement and lower levels of the house where radon exposure is highest. By having advertisement for a monthly event for the use of more public transport, walking to work or school or riding a bike, this would decrease the amount of emissions evidently. We could also reduce pollution by using more green households, environmentally friendly products and not litter. Everyday people buy plastic things from the cafeteria, from plastic containers, lids on cups, and things as small as straws, and like 50% of plastic used it will be thrown away after one use. However, do you ever stop and think, what happens to the plastic? If you’re thinking that it just magically goes away you 're wrong. It will most likely end up in a landfill somewhere or in the ocean, and as you may think that your actions do not impact the world, think again.
