As I look back on the past week, it has been a long journey! Throughout the course of Creative Arts II, there were many group works compared to Creative arts I. I really loved the idea of having various small and big group works and performances because it allowed us to get together and gather ideas to create a piece of art. For the final group performance, as a group, we gathered lots of ideas and discussed how the performance should be carried out. One of our ideas for the final performance was dance where we choreograph our own dance piece to a theme of life cycle and love of music. Personally, I was excited about incorporating a dance piece to the final performance, only if all group members had agreed. However, some group members were not comfortable dancing in front of the whole class. I was fine with this because everyone has different skills and confidence on something specific and I was able to understand so we moved on to a different type of art, which was drama. Coming up with our final piece, I think we tried hard to incorporate music, dance, instruments that we have learned previously in class.
The actual brainstorming stage was very smooth and easy for us because everyone had so much idea and everyone contributed all their thoughts during the discussion. We almost had too much idea, which made it hard for us to …show more content…

Our performance is composed of 6 very short scenes showing the life cycle from born to death. In-between the scenes we decided to pause for a couple seconds when one of the member snaps their finger three times while we transition into the next scene. This was the most challenging part of the performance because at first we were not sure who was going to snap and everyone got little bit confused. Other than this small issue, we had no other difficulties or conflict between group members or personality
