Grit is having perseverance and passion on a long term goal no matter how many times you might fail. Angela’s quote clearly depicts that people with Grit are able to manage a fear of failure which is imperative for success. Grit is based on someone’s ability to maintain although they may face many challenges to achieve a set goal. For instance, I am now pursuing my Chemistry class for the second time after failing the regents. It is evident that I didn't take my failure as loss but more of a lesson. I will now prepared this year in order to pass and get a way more improved grade.
