Have you ever lied to your parents? Or took something that wasn’t yours? Even though those are small acts of indiscretion, im sure you still have some guilt from doing so. Now, of course there's bigger guilt in life than simple petty crimes. For the main instance, guilt of taking a life.Especially with war veterans and military personnel, that guilt is very popular, but does that mean you're guilty over every sition of death? In the story “Ambush” by Tim O’Brien,there's a soldier who was put in a position that he had to kill someone, even though it wasn’t his conscious decision, he still tossed the grenade at the unknown man. When reading the story “Ambush”, some would say O’Brien action were not his fault; however he is guilty of the murder of the man because he went throw the training, made the actions and tried to ignore what he did.
