In Economics the definition of a command economy is one among the lines of, “An economic system in which activity is controlled by a central authority and the means of production are publicly owned” (Merriam-Webster). Normally, this is seen as one of the least accepted economic systems in the world, and with only North Korea as an example in today’s society, there is a stable basis to believe this thought is conclusive with many of the facts proving that this system is not popular and bound to fail. They have recently reduced what and how people can own firearms by ordering further background checks, limiting the amount of ammunition a firearm can hold, and limiting the available accessories for firearms. The recent rise in gun-control activism is boasted mainly on the recent rise in public shootings. A question to be asked through all these limitations is one, do they work and two, are they even necessary. The answer to the first question is best put by dailycaller.com, “[No] safeguard has stopped criminals from doing what they do—break the law.” The second one can be answered in a matter of statistics, according to dailycaller.com as well, “less than 9 percent of all guns obtained by criminals… came from retail outlets.” While, “39.2% of criminals obtained a gun on the street or from an illegal source.” These facts and statistics can clearly prove the firearm limitations placed upon the people of the U.S. by the government is neither effective, nor required; the only purpose that is served by these limitations is increasing the government’s control over its citizens and thus leading them …show more content…

The Affordable Care Act (ACA) is a Marxist and undoubtedly frugal attack on the American people. According to forbes.com, “Twice as many American’s were hurt by Obamacare [rather] than helped.” The main intention of the ACA was to help the citizens of the U.S. by creating, “Provisions that give Americans more rights and protections and expand access to affordable quality health care to tens of millions of uninsured” (obamacarefacts.com), but according to Heritage.org, “88.1 million people [saw] their current employer-sponsored health plan disappear.” This factually proves that even though the government states that they are attempting to help their citizens, in reality, it is another manipulous attempt at controlling the everyday life of the people. Through all the trouble the government experienced in passing this act, they forgot one major aspect, the monetary cost behind it; “[The ACA] would add $1 trillion to the deficit in the second decade”
