When I opened the doors of my Anytime Fitness gym, I started to look at different types of groups within it. Some of them were working out or at least think they were working out, some were yelling, and others were teaching kids how to work out. I started to group them because it was interesting to me to see how many different people meet up at a gym. After I was done grouping, I had a total of eleven different groups. I didn't realize that many groups existed at a gym. It’s like when you went to high school where you saw the jocks, the nerds, the band group, the geeks, the outcast and so forth. This group of girls are stronger than a lot of the guys. They drink their protein and eat healthy. This group of girls make me look like a wimp because of how strong they look. After looking at them, I want to stop going to the gym from embarrassment. My friend Maya falls in this group because she is a strong girl. She eats healthy and drinks protein. Most of all she likes to workout which helps her look stronger. Another group I see at the gym are the Populars. This group of people occupy a seat and start texting when other people want to workout. They look like they have so many friends, even at the gym they have to text someone. One time I went to workout and there was one guy who fell in this group. I wanted to use a machine, but the guy was sitting on it texting. I asked him if I could use it and he said that he was taking a break and was still using it. . A next group at the gym are The Friends. This group of people at the gym want to make friends. At the gym, people go to work out but this group of people don’t understand that and start to talk to you. That’s why I don't go workout with my friend Elias. Most of the time he wants to talk to me during the workout. I don’t like that because when I workout I like to put some music on and start doing my
