In this soliloquy by Ophelia she describes the person that Hamlet has become now in the state of madness. This was addressed after the fact that he had shown his true feelings about her and that he didn’t feel any love or affection to her anymore. Anyways, at first she had described him as a “noble mind here o'erthrown” meaning that Hamlet seems to have fallen off his usual self in the play. Like he’s not acting the way he did before the madness. Then the next line of the soliloquy is that “ courtier’s, soldier’s, scholar’s..” and this was to describe the person he used to be before which was a talented or well rounded Prince who was a scholar and was considered to be as brave as a soldier in the country of Denmark. He was a role model in the way he dressed and the way he had acted. Furthermore, she claims “ and I, of ladies most deject and wretched” which is describing how she feels as she sees this transformation from one side of Hamlet to the other. Like out of the ladies who have been around Hamlet she was the one to witness this horrific change of behavior and isn’t technically a fan of what he has become lately. In addition to her reactions to his transformation, she compared Hamlet to “sweet bells jangled, out of tune and harsh” and saying that they way he has been acting is strange and out of the usual. Like he has changed his sense of rhythm or symphony by the recent actions and that he’s in the midst of fog, confused or lost his unique way of living. As we reach the end of the soliloquy, she describes his craziness or out of his usual self to be “blasted with ecstasy” and to top it all off she “ Oh, woe is me, T’ have seen what I have seen, see what I
