Yes, I agree with you that the Hammurabi 's Code was a much stricter law basically if you had money you can just pay fines because they 're based on wealthy status. Under the Hammurabi 's Code someone who was a thief that could not pay at all fell into slavery or was put to death while someone who was wealth could pay their way out of death. This is very cruel and unfair. I agree with you that I would rather live under the Hebrew 's Law because everyone was treated fairly. Slaves were still considered humans and only were slaves for six years. The Hebrew Law was based on commandments. While in the Hammurabi 's Code if they did not have money than you were just consider a slave. But both Hammurabi 's Code and the Hebrew Law dealt with the social
